About Author
R.J HANSON
Roy Hanson has spent much of his life searching for purpose, even during seasons when he felt he had little choice in the direction his life was taking. Early on, his plans often seemed to be shaped by what his parents wanted for him. As he grew older, circumstances, responsibilities, and the needs of others continued to influence many of the decisions he made.
When Roy first moved to Texas, he was often viewed as a Yankee and even a foreigner. Though that experience was difficult, it ultimately shaped something meaningful in him. It taught him to recognize those who felt like outsiders and strengthened his compassion for people who had no one to stand beside them.
